ASH WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 17
Lent begins on Wednesday February 17 with the 7:00 PM Ash Wednesday Service which will include the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.
Midweek Lenten Services & Suppers
During Lent, we will gather on Wednesdays, for a simple Soup Supper at 6 PM (suppers starting February 24) and Lenten Services at 7 PM. Lenten Soup Suppers will be a simple meal of soup and sandwiches, no desserts, in observance of the season. There is a signup sheet in the Narthex for individuals/families to sign up to bring food and/or to help the Youth Group set-up and clean-up. Confirmation class will be at 6:10 PM with Adult Choir at 7:45.

RADICAL JESUS THEME FOR LENTEN MIDWEEK SERVICES
Seems like yesterday we were singing “silent night” and the phrase “holy child meek and mild.” Many of us have held this idea of the adult Jesus as well. So why was he killed? Jesus was a radical as God loves humans in a radical way. Breaking the rules to include the unclean, enemies, sinners, criminals, children. You might say Jesus was the first reformer of what God intended for humans. Join us for worship at 7:00 Wednesdays beginning Feb. 24th and Soup supper at 6:00. Message will be given by WTS seniors. How is God calling us to love radically today?
